Valentines special These sessions will take place on Thurs 8th Feb, 10-12 or 2-4. we will build a heart shaped bowl or mug, from soft slabs of clay, either using a mould or just with your hands. This will be a step by step guided session, suitable for all abilities and age groups. You will all get a small heart shaped ceramic badge to decorate too. Aww Session £20 pp limited spaces so booking essential. Aprons are provided, but you may want to wear clothes that you don’t mind getting a bit messy. NB long nails will be a considerable hinderance to your creativity. Items will be ready to collect approx 2 weeks after your class. Any items not collected within 6 months will be disposed of. If you are not planning on returning for your creations, please tell us on the day so we do not waste resources and end up putting them in land fill. Many thanks. These 2 hour workshops will consist of learning throwing on a Potters Wheel, working with a tutor to create your own pots. (Throwing pots will be almost impossible with long nails, just for info!) Over the course of four Saturdays, you'll learn the basics of throwing on a wheel, including centering, pulling, trimming, turning, and finishing a pot. Plus, you'll get the opportunity to glaze some of your finished pieces. Each class is 2 hours long, giving you plenty of time to get comfortable with the techniques. Unleash your creativity with this Paint a Pot Easter Eggs. This fun and interactive experience is available for everyone, whether you’re an aspiring artist or just looking for a new hobby. Children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Book your place now using our online booking form to secure your spot in this limited capacity studio. Don’t miss out on the chance to explore your artistic side. Paint a pot is a chance to paint an already bisque fired piece, that is in the shape of an Easter Egg, same size as a chicken egg. These can be purchased separately by visiting the shop in person with a box of 6 for £5. They can then be decorated using acrylic paints to air dry at home. Alternatively, consider booking a place to create them at Two and Throw with your family, a wonderful memory and keepsake. These will be decorated using glazes and fired in the kilns as a more long lasting and beautiful decoration for this time of year. 1 adult and 2 children plus 6 eggs for £30. With a £10 deposit to secure your booking, you’ll have the chance to get creative and paint your own unique bisque ware.
