This is an popular session with maximum of 3 spaces on this Throwing Workshops. As spaces are limited, payment is required to secure your place on each afternoon session. These 2 hour workshops will consist of learning throwing on a Potters Wheel, working with a tutor to create your own pots. (Throwing pots will be almost impossible with long nails, just for info!) Ladies Nights - £50 - 6-8 pm These nights promise to be one of fun and laughter, time to let you hair down and have a good old natter with old and new friends. Ladies Nights will be starting at the end of this month, so book early to avoid disappointment. They will be held on the last Friday of the month, each month, starting in March 2023. March 31st April 28th May 26th Sept 29th Oct 27th Nov 24th Dec 22nd This session includes activities is for a minimum of 3 adults. Guided sessions with step by step instructions and choice of projects. And will include:- Build a Mug Clever Dick A critter Mindfulness session - relaxation Set of stacking Pinch Pots Bowls Press Mould a plate or bowl Set of 4 matching tiles Decoration of a piece of pottery, using glazes and underglazes to paint onto an piece of bisque pottery, ready to be fired in the kiln and then collected later. Over the course of four Saturdays, you'll learn the basics of throwing on a wheel, including centering, pulling, trimming, turning, and finishing a pot. Plus, you'll get the opportunity to glaze some of your finished pieces. Each class is 2 hours long, giving you plenty of time to get comfortable with the techniques.
